Every day life

Lockdown day 6

I didn’t post about our day yesterday. The novelty of all this was beginning to wear off and we were all feeling a little down. I think this sums up our mood …

Today was sunnier. And we got a new foster dog. He’s very timid, but as sweet as can be. He is approximately 2 years old. His name is Lee and he is available from Last Chance Animal Rescue at lcarescue.org. Please check him out. He is so quiet and calm and is great in a crate.

Our evening consisted of a family walk with the two dogs and a very long game of monopoly. Tonight at 8, all non essential businesses closed. It is quite depressing. So many are going to lose jobs and businesses. I don’t understand why people are still hanging out in groups. Obviously , they do not understand the seriousness of this. Others are so angry with schools and inconsistencies between districts. They think there should have been plans in place but who could have imagined this? I am impressed with what is being done. I think it is important during this time to be patient. Be understanding. Be kind. Let’s try to make the situation better. Not worse. There is enough stress out there. Peace.
