Melting Crayons

Today we sorted all our stubby crayon pieces, and melted them to make big crayons.  I used disposable muffin tins because I did not know how damaged the tins would get.   I put them in the oven at 200° F, and watched for them to melt.  I probably left them in too long as they melted into a mucky color.  Some worked out well and ended up as rainbow crayons, which was the look I was hoping to get.  Some crayons melted faster than others.
