I decided we should try a popcorn and cranberry garland for the birds this year. It was a family affair. I used the needle to thread the cranberries and popcorn, Simon manned the end of the string, to make sure everything made it to the very end. James and Sophia were in charge of moving everything down the line. James was excellent! Sophia managed to be her usual bull- in-a china-shop self. We could not allow here to move popcorn, as every piece broke to pieces, and ended up in her mouth. Somehow, half of her cranberries fell off also, but she did not like the taste of them. Hopefully we will get some birds to visit!
